JOB DESCRIPTION: DREAM BUILDER

"You are never too old to set another goal or to dream and new dream." These are the words of C.S. Lewis, better known to most of you as the writer of The Chronicles of Narnia (and many other literary treasures).

Why a job description like DREAM BUILDER? Because ... that is exactly what I had become. A builder of my own dream!

After almost a quarter of a century in the corporate construction world I heard the words that we all dread - retrenchment! But ... I was not going to let that one word rule my life. I decided to set the new goal and dream the BIG dream.

I am by nature an adventurous explorer. The more untamed, the more without borders - the better. I LOVE the big wide world that is outside our doors, outside our comfort zones. The more off the beaten track we can go the happier I become.

We have been fortunate enough to own a 4x4 Toyota bakkie most of our adult lives and it is with this 4x4 vehicle that we get to go on our adventurous explorations.

After school I wanted to study graphic design, but alas it was not in the cards for me. It was always something that I did as a hobby, to help out friends or just for fun. Now I get to use my design skills plus my love for outdoor living to create what I dream will become a brand that people will love to wear on their adventures.
